Front of House Staff - Santa’s Grotto
Our Christmas elves are responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our grotto and bringing an extra bit of magic to families’ visits. As a member of the grotto team you will be required to wear elf attire. You must be a strong communicator and feel comfortable interacting with children and parents throughout the shift. The grotto staff works in very close proximity to each other you therefore must work well in a team.
Our elves are the eyes and ears of the venue. They patrol all areas to make sure audiences are getting to where they need to be on time and ensure the venue is clean and running smoothly. As well as this, you are there to answer any questions that visitors may have. You should be friendly, confident and be able to organise large numbers of people. There isn’t any sitting at desks involved in the job so you should be good on your feet, have a confident manner and big voice, and be willing to scramble to action at a moment’s notice.
You must have excellent customer service skills and be able to keep your cool under pressure. You should also have an interest in our programme.
Most grotto shifts are day shifts running all day from 12pm-8pm on weekdays and 10am-8pm on weekends. We will offer you a contract with minimum hours based around what is discussed at interview.
