Christmas In Leicester Square 2019 Round-up
8th Jan 2020
Now that Christmas well and truly over and the January blues have kicked in, let’s take a look back to the most wonderful time of the year…
Back on the first week of November, we opened the doors to Christmas In Leicester Square where the crowds were ready and waiting. The beautiful Leicester Square Spiegeltent opened its doors to audiences with La Clique, and our new markets at Christmas In Trafalgar Square also opened to keep the festive times coming.
The acclaimed cabaret sensation La Clique returned to the West End for the first time in 10 years, opening in the Leicester Square Spiegeltent with a brand new cast line-up that had audiences on their feet.
We partied on Press Night and celebrated the fantastic reviews. Read them here.
As December began, the markets filled with people wanting their festive fix. From stalls selling unique Christmas gifts and sweet treats, to yorkshire pudding wraps and mulled wine, there was plenty of things to do under the glittering lights.
We went behind the scenes of La Clique to find out what really happens behind the curtain…
Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs: The Magic Cutlass from Les Petits theatre company opened in the Spiegeltent, ready to transport families on a deep sea adventure. Mr T-Rex and the dinosaurs even took time out of their quest to visit Santa in his grotto!
We topped off a fantastic season by partying the night away at the La Clique NYE Spectacular where the cast were joined by special guests to celebrate the beginning of the new decade.
Thanks for spending your Christmas with us! See you all next year….
